Kim Panki is a Icheon Ceramic Master. Icheon is a centre of excellence of ceramic production in Korea, where tradition is preserved and passed on. Kim’s works present the beauty of celadon, with its glossy green finishing, and the ancient comb pattern, which dates back to Neolithic times, combining Korean traditional shapes and sensibilities with contemporary tableware making.
Here is a selection of some tableware by artist Kim, together with some iconic moon jars.
