Seo Kwang-soo

Seo Gwang-soo is an Icheon Ceramic Master whose outstanding accomplishments earned him the titles of 14th Ceramic Master of Korea and Intangible Cultural Treasure (No14) of Gyeonggi province.

His moon jars have also been designated as cultural treasures.

Seo has a very meticulous way of working and tightly controls the entire process of realisation of his works from the initial stage of sourcing the clay to the moment of firing. The artists embraces traditional techniques, such as using a pinewood kiln.
