Yu Yong-cheol

Yu is an Icheon Ceramic Master. The artist specialises in buncheong. Towards the end of theprocess, Yu applies powder directly onto the pot with a brush, giving his works a dynamic look.
Alternatively, he decorates the surface of the pot with a stamped flower decoration.

The glaze, with the way it freely flows over the surface of the pot, and the mesmerising hues achieved with firing create a stunning decorative effect.
