Kim Dae-Hoon works beyond the boundaries of traditional ceramics, using a variety of techniques to create pieces that reflect contemporary society. He reinterprets globally remembered social events through text, numbers, and symbols, while questioning modern desires for “faster, easier, and more abundant” lives. His work looks back to the daily life, leisure, and values of past generations, embedding social messages and reflections on the enduring significance of tradition within his ceramics.

- Graduated from the Graduate School of Industrial Studies, Hongik University
- Won the Grand Prize twice in the To Dojo Ceramic Competition and received the Chungbuk Young Artist Award
- Participated in the Jinro Ceramic Competition 1st and 3rd editions
- Held 40 solo exhibitions
