  • Volunteering Opportunity: Cataloguer

    We are seeking a Gallery Volunteer to assist in cataloguing our extensive collection of Korean contemporary art and antiques. We are dedicated to providing our volunteers with opportunities to develop valuable skills and gain experience that will enhance their future careers in the arts.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in cataloguing and organising the collection
    • Conduct occasional research on specific pieces, including their historical and cultural context
    • Provide support with everyday tasks around the gallery
    • Collaborate with gallery staff to maintain accurate records

     

    Qualifications:

    • Current students or recent graduates with a degree in Art History or a related field
    • Strong interest in Korean art, craft and culture
    • Highly motivated and proactive individuals
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience with ArtLogic is beneficial but not essential

     

    Commitment: The successful candidate should be able to commit to two days a week, working in our gallery.
